Chairman Message

A school is always a ‘miniature world’ where one receives ‘training for life’ and where effective, meaningful and joyful learning takes place. It is here that we begin to learn our lessons of life – to accept challenges, face competition, defeat and failure, and rejoice at victory and triumph.

National Public School made a humble beginning in the year 2004 and has progressed by leaps and bounds since then. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi up to XII standard. Our students have scaled new heights in different spheres of academic, sports and co-curricular activities.

Our name stands aloft in the arena of academic performance with splendid performances by the students in Senior Secondary and Secondary Board examination presenting a testimony to this. The school has always promoted sports to facilitate a wholesome development of students. Our dedication has brought many laurels to us. CBSE entrusted our school to host the prestigious North Zone Chess Championship as per the CBSE Sports Calendar 2013-14. In addition, the school team qualified for participation in the prestigious CBSE National level Volleyball Championship held at Thrissur, Kerala and Bhopal, M.P. in 2011 and 2010 respectively. This opportunity was bagged after winning the CBSE Cluster level events. The Cricket Academy at the school campus has also brought manifold laurels by winning various tournaments. Apart from these sport activities, facilities exist for numerous sports including Badminton, Table Tennis and Football etc.

The recent times have seen an increase in emphasis on co-curricular activities. This is duly manifested in the latest changes introduced by CBSE. Our students have performed dazzlingly in these activities. The school has been honoured by the Deputy Commissioner, Yamuna Nagar for winning the Best Performance Trophy three times – 2012, 2011 and 2009 – at Bal Mela.

It must be noted that, above all, at the school, we are a team of dedicated teachers and staff committed to hone the skills of children in the microcosm of school so that they are well equipped to lead and inspire in the world beyond. For us teaching is a passion and a calling. The importance of instilling good values in our students remains our prime objective. As Ralph Waldo Emerson has aptly said, “What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us.”
